
Positive Youth Development/Youth Leadership Track
It gives me great pleasure to announce JEMEZ VALLEY MIDDLE SCHOOL NATURAL HELPERS has been selected to receive a team scholarship. Great Job Submitting a Complete Application!!!
A team consists of 3 youth and 1 adult sponsor. The scholarship includes:
At the Conference
- Registration fees and materials to attend the Positive Youth Development/Youth Leadership (PYD/YL) Track at the 15th Annual Head to Toe (H2T) Conference April 13-14, 2011.
- April 13th- breakfast, lunch, snack and dinner and April 14th- breakfast, lunch and snack
- Hotel accommodations for April 12 and April 13, 2011 (3 rooms max/night)
- Training on Teaching 21st Century Kids by Dr. Patty O’Sullivan. These teams will be trained to be co-facilitators with Dr. O’Sullivan when she provides the training at their school.
- A user friendly Campaign 4 Teachers packet to be implemented in their school.
After the Conference
- A 7-hour training on Teaching 21 st Century Kids for teachers, staff and administrators, co-facilitated by Dr. Patty O’Sullivan and the team who participated in the H2T PYD/YL Track. The training will take place May 31, 2011 place TBA.
- The Campaign 4 Teachers will be implemented in their school.
- Technical Assistance to implement and evaluate Teaching 21st Century Kids and Campaign 4 Teachers
Please note, if you would like to bring additional youth or adults the cost is $180.00/person (this does not include additional hotel rooms) or $1,000.00 for an additional team of 3 youth and 1 adult (this cost includes 3 hotel rooms/night for 2 days). Any additional youth, adults or team costs will be your responsibility.
