Below are a few troubleshooting steps to try when you have issues with your Chromebook.

1.    Close all open Google Chrome windows / tabs and restart the Chromebook.

2. Clear cookies and cache:

  1. On your Chromebook, open Chrome.
  2. At the top-right, click More.
  3. Click More tools > Clear browsing data.
  4. At the top, select All time.
  5. Next to 'Cookies and other site data' and 'Cached images and files', tick the boxes.
  6. Click Clear data.

Hard reset - This may help if you have a black screen or if the Chromebook is not working properly.

3.    Update the Chromebook

4.    Power Wash the Chromebook to restore to factory settings

5.  Disable Extensions that were not "force installed". 

  1. On your computer, open Chrome.
  2. At the top right, click More More tools Extensions.
  3. On to the extension you want to remove, click Remove.
  4. Confirm by clicking Remove.
